Absolutely loved the cozy vibe of Ermitage, especially the stunning pristine views of the mountains from the balcony. Clean room with a fresh Scandinavian decor made it feel like a stylish retreat. Breakfast thrilled with a variety of local products, especially the warm bread and delicious yogurt. Dinner was another highlight, with a menu featuring simple yet amazing dishes. Unfortunately, we faced some noise disturbances at night as the restaurant seats were right under our room balcony, making it hard to unwind. Also, the breakfast lacked a bit of variety after a few days. Overall, a lovely spot but could use some soundproofing for the rooms to enhance the experience.

I stayed in a Premium Double Room with Balcony for 3 nights, and it was great! Super neat room, the bed was perfect for catching some z's. Plus, the balcony had an amazing view. The bathroom was clean and modern, and I loved the convenience of the central minibar on the floor. Just a tip, try to snag a room away from the restaurant noise for a quieter experience at night! All in all, cozy stay!

The layout of the places was spacious enough for our family. The restaurant served meals that pleased every palate, especially my son with the jetted tub!

My wife says that a few more kid-friendly amenities would enhance the stay.

Just a fine choice for strolling around in Kandersteg with extraordinarily good value for money. The young lady at the reception kindly drove us to the train station on a rainy day, which was a lifesaver. Be prepared for a bit of a walk from the train station if you're carrying heavy luggage.
